A hub for water sports and other activities and slightly more laid back than nearby Nungwi but is still a well known tourist area with some parties over the weekends and around the full moon. Also not affected by tides, however, because the ocean is so calm, it’s perfect for swimming and lounging but not suitable for kitesurfing activities.

Best for - quiet relaxation, water sports, sunset views.
