Coming Prepared - Gear for Hiking with Kids
A few tips on what you'll need for this trip
Evelyn Hill
Dolomites, Italy
If you prefer, many of these hikes can be done with a sturdy stroller, but make sure it is up for the adventure. If you are looking for one that is great on rough terrain, search for a used, or borrow a: BOB Revolution Flex 3.0, or BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller.
The hikes listed here will have clean paths, but it will be dirt road, a bit of up hill, and of course rocks and sticks popping along the road often.
Personally - I would opt for a high-quality carrier or backpack, especially if you are traveling with a child under 1 year old.
Here are my favorites, while they may be an investment, you can look for used ones or ask a friend to borrow! Poco® Plus Osprey
