Hotel Beacon Onomichi is hands down the best hotel in Onomichi in terms of what you get for your money. It has a prime location just on top of JR Onomichi Station, but is surprisingly quiet for that. From cozy bunk bed rooms to luxurious suites with home theaters, there's something for everyone. The breakfast is fantastic and I cannot highlight the staff enough - they truly went above and beyond for me when I had a medical emergency. It was so cosy too so I'd definitely stay here again (make sure to book ahead as it does get sold out quite often!)
