Shodoshima is the second largest island in the Seto Inland Sea and one of the first islands born to the gods in the creation myth of Japan! So as a Japanese Studies major, I just had to go here.

You can take the ferry from Takamatsu, the one way journey takes around one hour and costs 700 yen per person. The most convenient way is to get around by car but there are also frequent busses running along the island!
