Shingashi river is located just behind the Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine and is lined with 500 meters of cherry blossom trees  🌸

This spot is very similar to the Motoara Cherry Blossom Avenue in Fukiage but much more popular!

However, in Kawagoe you can experience  a  traditional boat tour among the cherry blossoms "Koedo Kawagoe Spring Boat Tour". It is usually held at the end of March to the beginning of April. Get here early to reserve your spot as the boat tour is very very popular among tourists and locals alike!
