Park

You have very likely heard of Nara Park and wondered - is it really worth it? In my opinion, it absolutely is! Nara Park is a massive park in Nara, Japan that's home to a bunch of (mostly) friendly and always-hungry deer. Buy some deer-friendly cracker and feed them - but make sure to put the package away and be always wary of your belongings! These deer are clever and they will 100% steal or even destroy your bag if given the opportunity. That being said, I found most of them to be friendly and tame (but they sure are greedy).

But that's not all - the park also has some seriously impressive temples and shrines that are way older than the ones in Kyoto.

The park is especially beautiful in spring and autumn sporting cherry blossoms and vibrant foliage.
