The Root Path (Kinone Michi) is a scenic trail on the Kurama to Kibune hike that showcases the tangled roots of ancient Japanese cedar trees peeking out from the ground. Legend has it that a young samurai once measured his height here centuries ago, giving the rock its name, Yoshitsune Height-Comparing Rock. As you stroll along this path, you'll feel like you're walking through a mystical forest with nature's artwork all around you. It's a cool spot to snap some photos and immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Mount Kurama.
