You can spend an entire day at this vast Tokyo park – visit shrines, catch Pokémon, dive into Ueno's history and more.

Ueno Park is best known for its zoo and its museums, but it has so many more hidden treasures to explore. If you stroll through the park, you’ll spot statues and historical monuments, ancient shrines and temples, and even Pokémon-themed manhole covers.

In spring, it is one of Tokyo's most popular cherry blossom spot and from the middle of November you can see vibrant fall colors starting to appear.
