I'll let you in on a little secret - the popular bamboo grove in Arashiyama is the most overrated place in all of Japan in my personal opinion. Just minutes away you will find Adashino Nenbutsuji Bamboo Path with very little to zero people. I personally think this one is much more beautiful and visually more interesting!

Tucked away behind the Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple, this bamboo grove offers a quieter and more intimate experience. As a bonus, the temple itself is absolutely worth a visit as well!
