Takamatsu Castle Park is just a few minutes walking distance from Takamatsu Station.

If you want to see a traditional Japanese castle and a gorgeous park filled with cherry blossoms with almost no one around, this is your location.

I stumbled here a bit on accident on a rainy day and while it looks unassuming from the outside I absolutely loved this park! There is on observation point as well as a beautiful garden and the Hiunkaku building, where you can find exhibitions about the castle and cultural activities.
