Gion Tatsumi Bridge is by no means a hidden gem, but it is my favourite photo spot in Kyoto for cherry blossom season!

I just love how you get the traditional Kyoto architecture with the beautiful cherry blossom trees.

Located over the Shirakawa canal, this bridge offers a picturesque view of the surrounding area, especially when the lanterns light up at night. I highly recommend to get here super early when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom - or you could try lunch time, which is when I managed to get these pictures! (I only had a 30 second window of no people though 😅)
