Kifune-jinja Shrine, nestled in the charming village of Kibune in Kyoto, is a must-visit spot for those seeking a serene and mystical experience. You absolutely have to try the unique omikuji fortune-telling by floating a paper on the shrine's fountain. Don't miss the opportunity to hike the mountain trail connecting Kibune to Kurama and indulge in a traditional kaiseki meal overlooking the rushing Kibune River below. It's a perfect blend of nature, culture, and delicious food. Note: Kibune jinja has recently become quite famous, so for a serene experience I recommend to arrive around 8-9am (it started to get busy from 10am)
