I spent one night in Matsuyama in order to take the sightseeing train Iyonada Monogatari and I highly recommend it! 🚂

It was one of the best experiences I had in Shikoku. The train goes from Matsuyama via Shimonada Station to Yawahama through breathtaking Shikoku countryside. Depending on when you'll board the train you will be served breakfast, lunch, an afternoon tea or dinner. You need to reserve your seat at a JR station prior as this is a reservation only train and seats fill up quickly!
