Entry into Okochisanso costs a thousand yen, which includes tea and a small cake at the end of your walk round.

Compared to the popular bamboo grove in Arashiyama there are very few visitors despite being so close together - this garden is especially pretty in autumn to watch the beautiful foliage! I really enjoyed walking these gardens with barely anyone there.
