Victoria Street is another spot in Edinburgh that is believed to be a part of the inspiration for Harry Potter, and one of the Edinburgh top attractions. The street is said to be an inspiration for Diagon Alley. With its cobbles curving upward and the pointy roofs, it is easy to see why. If you look up while walking on Victoria Street, you will see that there is a level above. Here you will find quite a few restaurants. If you want to soak in the view of this beautiful street, this is the perfect place to have lunch.

Photography tips for this location: Victoria Street should be on your photography bucket list because of its great details, colours, and bustling vibe. If you want to capture Victoria Street in its most real moment, you should go during the day to catch it when it is bustling with crowds. However, if you want to capture Victoria Street in its more relaxed atmosphere, the morning or the evening would be a perfect time.

In the evening you will see fantastic lights reflecting in the windows and onto the streets. In the early morning, you will get the chance to take a photo with no single person in it! Going these three different times will create three very different images. Choose one or all three; it does not matter; no matter what, Victoria Street is one of the best photo spots in Edinburgh.
