The Besseggen Ridge hike is probably the most beautiful hike in Jotunheimen. It is also on the most famous hikes and mountain ridges in Norway. During the hike you get a spectacular view with Gjende and Bessvatnet separated with just this small ridge that you will walk on.

Hiking the Besseggen ridge is not for the faint-hearted. It is a long and demanding hike with some steep sections where you have to climb with your hands and feet. The hike over the ridge is 14,3 kilometer, with a total elevation of around 1100m. It's a tough hike, but it is definitely worth the effort!
