In Bruges, you often get the feeling that you’ve strayed into a picture postcard, and nowhere is that more true than on the King’s Bridge. This 20th century bridge was erected on its historical site. The perfect spot to frame Jan van Eyck Square. This is also the place where Bruges’ boats turn around, but with a bit of luck you’ll find the water smooth as a mirror (‘spiegel’ in Dutch) and you’ll understand how this enchanting canal came to be called the Spiegelrei.
