This centuries-old fortress houses a Visitor Centre, a cruise terminal and The Antwerp Story. Het Steen is the oldest building in Antwerp and an iconic attraction for residents and visitors. Het Steen is closely linked to the origins of Antwerp. It is the last visible witness of the walled castle that defined the image of the city for centuries.

The unique building now has a truly accessible interpretation as a tourist reception center. In this way it will once again occupy a central position in the historic center of the city.
