Enjoy this 3.4-mile out-and-back trail near Mount Hood Parkdale, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 35 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, camping, and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Starting from the Tamanawas Falls Trailhead, leave the parking area and follow the East Fork Trail. The trail crosses the hood river and is surrounded by douglas fir. The trail continues along until you reach a log bridge which begins the Tamanawas Falls Trail 650A. The trail reaches the falls where you will enjoy views of the beautiful waterfall, navigate slippery boulder fields, and hopefully enjoy a nice peaceful lunch.

Fees/permits cost $5. There is no cell service in this area! The parking lot is right off of highway. There is a bathroom if you need it at the trailhead.
