What you’ll do

This guide is for you if you plan to visit Iceland in winter. It's created to show you the best sights in winter that still works when Iceland is snowy and cold. This is your perfect itinerary if you are visiting between December and March.

This itinerary is created as a self-drive and I recommend to get a 4x4 car. Iceland can be really snowy in winter so be prepared.

The itinerary is for 7 days and covers the south coast, Reykjavik and Snaefellsnaes. You can also see it as a 5-day itinerary and skip the last two days at Snaefelssnaes.
