When icebergs from the glacier lagoon float out to sea they eventually wash up on the beach. Here they lay until they melt or the next tide takes them away again. The contrast between the clear ice and black sand beach make them glitter in the sun. Best time of day is to visit at sunset, then they really glow and sparkle.

The largest "diamonds" are at low tide.
