Hrunalaug is a hot spring with a very Viking aspect. It is part of a private land and sometimes the owners are at the entrance to charge an entry fee to be able to enter the water. However, if you are not sure if you are going to enter, just tell the owner that you just want to check on the water temperature. If you then see that you want to get in, go back and pay (about 1,000 ISK - much cheaper than Secret Lagoon). As the owner is not always there, you might be lucky enough to enjoy this place for free.
