The first thing you will see when arriving in the center of Edinburgh is the incredible Edinburgh Castle. It is one of Edinburgh top attractions and a must see in Edinburgh Scotland! The castle has some amazing views from all over the city but The Vennel Viewpoint is by far my favourite!

Photo Tip for this location: The Vennel Viewpoint especially looks beautiful during a cloudy or rainy day. If you want to see the lanterns light up, make sure you also visit this spot at night. It is equally as beautiful to see the street and castle light up.
