When you visiting Angel falls you can't miss these waterfalls called "Salto el Sapo" and "Salto El Hacha".

To go to Salto El Sapo you take the indigenous canoe from the lodge you're staying in Canaima for 10 minutes and then a hike of 15 minutes to reach the entrance to the waterfall, you will walk for about 5 minutes to cross from one side to the other side of the waterfall and have an amazing viewpoint, also you can walk another 10 minutes to reach the top of it and also mini waterfalls that are formed where you can take a relaxing shower.

On the other side Salto El Hacha is just in from of the lodge, literally while you're having delicious lunch you can see this waterfall with others forming a perfect scenario. to visit this one you need to take the canoe for 3 minutes and then go up thru a natural ladder for 2 more minutes and you will reach what I would say one of the best spot for pictures in the whole trip.

In order to visit this waterfalls you need to book a tour to Canaima that must be from 4 or 5 days no less no more. So in one of those days you can visit these falls, and the rest of the days you will have other activities. I wrote no cost for this trip because all the tours sold to Canaima are all inclusive so In Itineraries you will check the full tour and prices.

If you decide to visit these waterfalls I highly suggest to also to the following:

  • Visit Kuravaina tepui and Blue well

  • Angel falls (which is actually included in the tour)

  • Heli flight over Angel falls and landing on the top

  • Visit kavak indigenous village and its caves

  • Visit Uruyen the most remote and luxurious indigenous community

You can contact www.socoadventures.net where you will find all the information regarding the tours and customize it at your own way. Also you can chat with them by WhatsApp by clicking the button at the website anytime. You can also split payments so you don't have to pay everything at once and finally but not less important they will take care of safety and logistics since you arrive in Venezuela.
