To be fully transparent, Trattoria ZaZa is incredibly popular and very touristy. HOWEVER that being said, there’s a reason WHY it’s so popular. Before going the first time it was recommended to me by both locals and tourism boards alike and I gotta say – the food here is great and not at all the food you would expect to find at a place crawling with tourists. They stay true to authentic Italian dishes instead of altering the menu to cater to tourist tastebuds, and that’s why I’ve decided to include it on this list. The waitstaff are very kind, the service is quick, and the decor is very charming. Both the restaurant and menu are HUGE, so while I’d highly recommend making a reservation (like I said, it’s very busy), its likely to not be a long wait if you don’t. All that being said, while there are plenty of other local, authentic Italian restaurants on this list, if you’re passing by Trattoria Za Za it’s worth a stop

Kacie's Recommendation: Any of the pastas are fantastic, but I really love both the Truffle Ravioli and the Duck Pappardelle!
