The night we went to Antico Noe, we were completely surrounded by Italians, which is rare to find in a restaurant as centrally located as they are. The thing I love about Antico Noe is that in addition to traditional Tuscan dishes (which they do very well), you can also find Traditional Roman dishes such as Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara, and Artichokes (which they also do very well). The restaurant is very small and compact, so while its cozy, if you’re looking for a more comfortable, private date night dining experience this might not be the place for you. However, if you’re looking to have a good time with friends in a very traditional Osteria, Antico Noe is great. During the day they operate as a well-known panini shop, which are massively delicious and also worth stopping by for lunch.

Kacie's Recommendation: Carbonara and Artichokes are both traditional Roman dishes and Antico Noe has executed a fantastic combination of them with their Artichoke Carbonara. We also split a plate of the Tortelli Alla Noe, which were tortelli stuffed with potato and cheese in a tomato, cheese, and eggplant sauce. Even Dario said it was fantastic, so you know it was the real deal. Note: instead of any of the “Fillet” options on the menu, I’d opt for the Florentine Steak here. We tried the Steak Fillet with Truffle and it unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. The couple next to us, however, ordered the Florentine Steak and it looked and smelled amazing.
