You’d think it would be impossible to find a decent restaurant within vicinity of the famous Duomo, but Coquinarius proves that theory so, so wrong. Typical Mediterranean dishes with a twist, the big thing that makes Coquinarius stand-out is the large selection of main course dinner salads, an incredibly rare thing to find not only in Florence, but in all of Italy. They stay true to their Tuscan roots but find unique ways to reinvent it, and the staff are ready to help you with any questions you might have. If you’re looking to change it up from traditional Italian flavors, Coquinarius is fantastic.

Kacie's Recommendation: The Raviolini with Cheese and Pears comes highly recommended, but I personally loved the Pici with Veal Ragout. Dario tried the beef cheek and said it was wonderful, and since he’s a chef I totally believe it.
