From the outside looking in, you wouldn’t think much of this little Gastronomia, but don’t be fooled - the restaurant here is outstanding and one of my favorite dinner spots in Florence. The A La Carta Menu changes with the season, but is always carefully curated by young chefs eager to incorporate new flavors in classic Italian cuisine. If you’d rather something more traditional Italian, any item off the Gastonomia Counter menu will leave you satisfied. They have an equally curated wine selection, so make sure to ask the sommelier for a wine suggestion with your meal. I’d realllllly recommend heading to Gurdulu in the Spring, Summer, or Fall when you have the option to book a table at their open-air space located inside the restaurant. It’s covered greenery and candlelight, and the fact that you can enjoy your meal in an intimate outdoor space away from the street makes the ambiance very romantic.

Kacie's Recommendation: You should absolutely get the cold cuts and cheese selection to start. Off the A La Carte menu, the Pate en Croute, Pine Nuts Spaghetti, and any Risotto are phenomenal. From the Gastronomia counter, give the Meatballs and Lasagna are my go- tos.
