Ramintoja Church had a difficult history. It was built in 1746, it was functioning as a catholic church until 1854 when it was converted to orthodox church during tsar occupation. It was restored as a catholic church after WWI and it was damaged by a huge fire after WWII. During the soviet occupation the church was converted to a warehouse and it was divided to 3 floors. In 2018 after being abandoned for a while, on the top floor there was a chapel made, there's a social restaurant "Pirmas Blynas" on first floor and there are events and exhibitions happening in the building as well. It has a really unique atmosphere since it's partly baroque church, partly soviet warehouse but it's really worth visiting
