Cortés, a family-owned chocolate maker in Puerto Rico, opened this location in Mott Haven, The Bronx.Expect a lot of chocolate - the menu includes 10 hot chocolates; grilled cheese sandwiches with chocolate butter, pancakes with chocolate, and many other options - including alcoholic cocktails with chocolate. The one I'm holding is the Chocolada with rum, coconut cream, whipped cream, and toasted coconut. The food doesn't disappoint - I had the Garden Sandwich with fried eggplant, beet slaw, guacamole, and sprouts. OMG! Sooooo good! And I have no words to describe the hazelnut tart. Perfect!
