Leisurely hike - enjoy the lake - speedy descent This lake is a true hidden gem in Graubünden and I love that it is easy accessible and also super suitable for families.

Take the PostBus to St.Antönien or with the car there are various parking lots and depending on your time and fitness you can park in lover spaces or almost drive up to the Partnunstafel.

After leaving the PostBus, follow the small road for about 800 metres and then follow the hiking signpost with the signpost No. 72 / 35 in the direction of Partnun. The hiking trail leads past the Heinzen Chapel, among others, so dare to take a look: You will never cease to be amazed!

In the area of the Partnunstafel, you will pass the Berghaus Alpenrösli, which now or later has a great sun terrace ready for a stop. The last ascent to Partnunsee is less than 100 metres in altitude and is pleasant to walk. At the top, the Partnunsee awaits with 2 rowing boats and an outrageously beautiful location in the middle of the Flue.

At the end of the hike, it is a good idea to return to St. Antönien on freeride scooters. This not only saves wobbly knees, but also time and also puts you in a good mood! The scooters can be hired from both mountain huts. Reservations are highly recommended for groups, as they are very popular in good weather!

Photography tips: This lake offers a glass clear reflection in the early morning and later in the afternoon it gets a bit more vivid. Nonetheless, I recommend to rent a boat or take your SUP to take some beautiful photos on the water.

Distance: 5.7km Duration: 2hrs Ascent: 410m Descent: 410m (or 90m if you take the scooter)
