If you have done just a little research on Copenhagen you have most likely stumble upon Christiania. The little local community marketed as the only Freetown left in the world.

The locals took over this area from the government years ago, by simply just not paying for anything. The even to this day claim this land all tho by law this little town within Copenhagen really doest belong the the locals (on paper)

Danes come here to smoke a joint and have a peaceful moment among friends.

We used to go every Sunday to watch the locally known “Sunday concerts” at the cafe called "Nemo land" and especially Amalie used to come there and sing along to a very young Lukas Graham performing his early songs on the stage in front of the cafe.

We say that this is a safe place but we would lie if we said that there are no problems here. This is the drug capital of Denmark and police occasionally storm the place to arrest the dealer and if you are unlucky you can get to experience that.
