This hike is one of our favorites. Here's why: Take the cable car from "Tannenboden" to "Maschgenkamm" (see link below). From there, you hike on an even path, until it starts to descend smoothly. After you have reached the final chain of mountains and hills, you walk up and down in direction of lake Walensee, surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The last hill of the chain is Gross Güslen: Enjoy sunset there, before you descend to Hotel Seebenalp when it's getting dark, which provides great food and a bed for the night. If you like hiking an hour more, you can get back down to "Tannenboden" in the same evening without problems (and even reach the last public transports).
