What to expect:

Goa Bangkang Prabu (Bat Cave) is located just 10 minutes from Kuta along the main road, with three interconnected caves: Goa Bangkang Prabu, Goa Puwun, and Goa Sumur (Mystical Neverland). The best one to visit - especially for photos - is the smaller Bangkang Cave, marked by a wooden sign near a new resort with a bat statue. Entrance fees vary: 25K IDR for Bangkang, 60K for Mystical Neverland. Over 3‘000‘000 bats living there so be warned, the smell can be unpleasant. But what a cool spot!
If you want to see all the bats flying out of the cave, you can stay in the Cersen resort next to the caves. (link below)

How to get here:

We rented a scooter for the four weeks we were in Lombok. We used it to get from A to B. Scooters can be easily rented through your accommodation. We rented our scooter at Lembar Harbor. Price: 70k IDR/day

Entrance fee: 60k IDR

Walking: 2mins

Tips:

Visit around 12–15 PM to catch magical sunrays enhanced by smoke (just ask the guide there to make smoke).
