Simpsons Gap is an easy drive from Alice Springs and a really peaceful spot to visit.

It’s only about 20 minutes from town, and the towering red cliffs are unreal , there are some cool, shady spots the locals to stop by to have picnics.

The walk from the car park is super easy like 5 minutes tops, so it’s a great quick stop, especially if you’re doing a West MacDonnell loop. Bring a camera, the reflections in the still water are gorgeous if there's been rain.
