Must-Do Experiences in Minsk

There are several reasons why your trip to Belarus can feel very different from anywhere else in Europe.

1. Discover powerful WWII history
Belarus was deeply affected by World War II, and today the country is full of meaningful historical sites. In Minsk, the Great Patriotic War Museum is one of the most impressive museums you can visit.
Outside the city, you’ll find places like the Khatyn Memorial Complex, and if you have time to explore another city, Brest and the famous Brest Fortress near the Polish border are absolutely worth the trip. These places help you understand the history of the country.

2. Feel the post-Soviet atmosphere
Belarus is one of the best places in Europe to experience authentic Soviet and post-Soviet architecture. Wide avenues, monumental buildings, and residential blocks from another era (Osmolovka) are still part of everyday life here.
