Departure: Cruises leave from the Maligne Lake dock. Reservations are recommended during peak summer months & I've included a link so you can book directly from this guide!
What to Bring: Camera, sunglasses, layered clothing (it can be chilly on the water), snacks, & water.
Accessibility: The boats are wheelchair accessible.
Tips: Early morning cruises often provide calmer waters and fewer crowds.
Once you get back, you can get food & shop at the Lake House Cafe. I got my favorite crew neck sweater there (pictured in the last photo!)
I chose to eat at the Waffle Hut. They have sweet & savory options & I really liked this place!
There is no cell service here or WiFi, so enjoy your time offline!
Maligne Canyon: A short drive from the lake; hike the dramatic limestone canyon and waterfalls.
Hiking: Several trails start near the lake, including the Opal Hills and Skyline Trail for panoramic views.
Wildlife Watching: Moose, bears, and caribou are often seen along Maligne Lake Road. I saw Elk on the way to my morning cruise!
