Falasarna is an endless stretch of golden sand, perfect for long walks and relaxation. The white beach ensures plenty of space to spread out, even during the busy summer months. The long white beach and consistent wind makes it a popular sport for watersport enthusiasts. The water is crystal-clear. The beach has been awarded as best beach of Crete and voted as one of the 10 best beaches in Europe. The sand in falasarna is whitish, making the watercolor tropical. The beach offers umbrellas and a few snackbar and cafés. There are also services for watersports.

The coastline is 3km long, it consists of 5 consecutive beaches divided by rocks or sand dunes, with 2 of them attracting the largest crowds. The most popular is Pachia Ammos. More than often, north-west winds blows in the area, raising big waves. The beach is fully organised.

Parking

You can park your car right by the beach, where there is a parking area with ample space for quite a few cars. This parking is free. From there, you can walk directly to the beach.
