Marmara, also known as Dialiskari Beach, is a stunning and secluded small pebbly bay located near the exit of the impressive Aradena Gorge in the Sfakia region. Situated 85 km south of Chania city and 5 km west of Loutro, this beach is a popular rest stop for hikers completing the Aradena Gorge before continuing on to Loutro.

The name "Marmara" comes from the Greek word for "marbles," referring to the soft, colorful rocks and sea caves that are the most striking feature of the area. The beach is a 60-minute walk from the nearest inhabited beach, Lykos, and about 75 minutes from Loutro. Since there are no roads leading directly to the beach, hiking or taking a boat are the only ways to reach this hidden gem. There is a small tavern near the beach where you can enjoy delicious local dishes, and umbrellas are available for those wishing to relax by the water.
