Stäubifall – The Highest Waterfall in Canton Uri
Stäubifall (140 m) is the highest waterfall in Canton Uri and one of the most spectacular natural sights in Central Switzerland. Located at the entrance to the beautiful Maderanertal valley, this waterfall plunges dramatically down the cliffs, especially powerful in spring and early summer when the snow is melting. It’s a true hidden gem for nature lovers and hikers.
How to Get There
Travel to Bristen (near Amsteg in Canton Uri).
From there, follow the marked trail into Maderanertal Valley.
A short and scenic 30–40 minute hike brings you to the base of the waterfall.
