Blackness Castle, located in Scotland near the village of Blackness, is a 15th-century fortress with a rich history. Built by Sir George Crichton in the 1440s, it served as a state prison and a royal stronghold. Over the years, it underwent various fortifications and was even used as an ammunition depot during the 19th century.
