Hiking Trolltunga is an incredible experience, taking a full day to complete the out-and-back trip. The views across Norway from the start of the hike are spectacular and make it well worth the effort. The trail consists of 1 km of steep, stone-step climbing before leveling out to several smaller climbs. Near the end of the trek, hikers will arrive at the famous Trolltunga (Troll’s Tongue) for the signature photo op. Afterwards, the return hike to the car park is slightly quicker with multiple stops for creative photos along the way.
