This is a stunning area of Iceland with many reasons to visit- mighty Vestrahorn mountain, the flat and vast black sand beach, rocky cliffs next to the lighthouse, charming sand dunes, Viking Village, and a cozy café. There is a campsite here as well as a newer guesthouse suitable for hosting up to 4 people. If the skies are clear, sunrise at Vestrahorn/Stokksnes is wonderful.
