Zpráva od Irishpix

Drombeg Stone Circle, also known as The Druid's Altar, is a small axial stone circle located in County Cork, Ireland. It's not the biggest or most famous stone circle out there, but it's definitely a popular spot for visitors. The circle consists of 13 sandstone stones arranged in a diameter of 9.3 meters, with two taller entrance stones and a recumbent axial stone. Some cool features include carvings of a phallus and vulva on the stones. Nearby, you'll find prehistoric huts and a fulacht fiadh, which was used until the 5th century AD. Excavations in 1957 revealed cremated remains of an adolescent in the center of the circle, wrapped in cloth inside an inverted pot.
