The area is perfect for paddling (e.g. between Dhërmi and Himarë), snorkeling, deep water soloing (eastern seaside) and sport climbing (in the southern part of the canyon, west side). The beach itself is crowded and littered, but once you venture away from it (either into the canyon or onto the water), it's quiet and spectacular.
