It's a must-see spot for nature lovers and photographers alike, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and capture some amazing views. So, grab your camera and get ready for an adventure along Kodachrome Road!

Kodachrome Road is a scenic drive in the American Southwest that takes you through Kodachrome Basin State Park, known for its colorful rock formations and stunning landscapes.

The road is paved and easily accessible for most vehicles, leading directly into the state park where you'll find hiking trails, campsites, and viewpoints like Angel’s Palace Trail and Panorama Point. The colorful spires and sedimentary pipes stand out beautifully during golden hour, making sunrise and sunset the best times for photos.

Camping is available inside the park at Basin Campground, which offers sites with water and electric hookups, restrooms, and showers. For more primitive options, there’s Bryce View Campground and Arch Campground, or even nearby BLM land for dispersed camping just outside park boundaries. Reservations are recommended in peak season (spring and fall).

Dogs are welcome on Kodachrome Road and within the state park, but must be leashed at all times. Bring water and avoid hiking with pets during the heat of the day, as shade is limited and surfaces can get hot.
