On your way to Giovinazzo's historic center and port, stop for a few minutes at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. On one side, you'll see the Church of Saint Dominic, on the other, quintessential Giovinazzo buildings with green shutters and some cafes, and in the middle, stands the beautiful Fountain of Tritons. It may not be as lavish as other Italian piazzas (far from it), but the authentic atmosphere of this lesser-known town is what it's all about.
