If you are a fan of paddle-boarding, wild swimming or just chilling by the lake for the day then Llyn Tegid is is the spot for you.
Sat on the edge of Bala high-street (bustling with shops, cafes and restaurants) Llyn Tegid, also known as Bala Lake, is Wales' largest natural lake nestled in the stunning Eryri National Park spanning 3.5 miles long.
There are a few beaches and park-ups dotted around the Lake including Llangower (see listing for more info) but the most popular is the Foreshore car park as there is plenty of parking, a cafe, toilets, SUP and kayak hire and a pebble lake-side beach with grassy banks perfect for letting the kids run around.
