Orthodox Luermen Shengmu Temple claims to be the rightful successor of Luermen's destroyed Matsu Temple. The temple asserts that it was originally called Baoan Temple and worshipped Wangye as its main deity, with Matsu as a secondary deity. It changed its name to Shengmu Temple in 1960.
