If you are in Mancora during whale watching season (July-October), then hop on one of the many offered tours to see these majestic giants. Tours can vary greatly in price but they are all very similar so I found the cheapest option to be completely fine. No frills and we saw lots of whales!

They all start absurdly early in the morning and include hotel pickup.

Some tours will offer swimming with turtles but I found this part to be unethical. They dump chum in the water so the turtles get close and its done right by the dock. I did not partake.
